-Tillamook, Or
-Portland coast
-San francisco, CA
-Anaheim, CA
END: Las Vegas, NV

Roadtripping is not for the faint hearted-especially if you are with one other person for 17 days. Let's just say if you can last 2+ weeks with someone on a roadtrip, you two will definitely learn a LOT and know whether or not you can live the rest of your life with each other. Thankfully, we're still happily together. YAY!
HOW we did it:
Obviously lots of planning and knowing how many days we wanted to stay at each place. Looking up fees and campsites and saving money for gas and emergencies. We actually planned on spending the entire time in our car (Yup- we converted the back of my lovely Rav 4), but ended up spending some days in airbnbs (Seattle and Portland during the CRAZY heat wave). Tuan planned the trip portion such as how long it would take us to get there, what route we should take, how many days we would be in each place, and for the most part, where can we park to sleep while visiting? More so in each place we went, we used iOverlander to find which places were IBM or had decent fees for campsites. (Highly recommend downloading the app and looking through before going in case you don't have signal). Because we didn't need to make many reservations, we were able to edit the amount of days in each place based on what we wanted to do, or if we wanted to leave earlier or later than expected. :)
What we packed in the RAV4 for 17 days:
-5 gallon jug of water (that we refilled as needed)
-1 twin/full mattress topper + bed sheet liner
-2 blankets + 4 pillows
-1 large flashlight
-2 small flashlights
-1 cooler with perishable food for cooking
-1 bag of non-perishable food and snack
-1 pan + 1 pot (which had two tupperwares)
-oil, spices, dishsoap, utensils, plates
-1 roll toilet paper + 1 roll paper towel
-one bag each of our own clothes, toiletries, and towels.
-bug spray + sunscreen
